MINO is pleased to announce the opening of its new company with office in India, marking an important step in the Group’s continued development and commitment to the Indian market.
With a long-standing presence in India and a growing portfolio of projects across the aluminium and metals industry, MINO has established strong relationships with leading producers in the region. The opening of the new local company represents a further investment in this market and strengthens MINO’s ability to provide customers with direct and dedicated support.
The new MINO Rolling Technology India company, located in Navi Mumbai, will act as a local point of reference for customers and partners, supporting MINO’s activities across the entire project lifecycle — from initial technical discussions and feasibility studies through engineering, project execution and after-sales technical service.
Closer to Our Customers
India is an increasingly important market for the global metals industry, with significant investments in aluminium, steel and copper production and a growing demand for advanced rolling technology.
MINO has already completed and is currently supporting several projects in India. Recent milestones include the successful start-up of MINO’s Four-High Aluminium Cold Rolling Mill at JUPALCO Aluminium Limited, designed for strip widths up to 2,300 mm and incorporating advanced process control and automation technologies.
The new local presence will allow MINO to further strengthen its relationships with customers, respond more quickly to local requirements and provide enhanced technical and commercial support.
Global Technology, Local Support
The new company will operate as an integral part of the MINO Group, connecting local activities with the Group’s engineering and manufacturing centers in Italy and its international business units.
This approach combines MINO’s long-standing expertise in the design and manufacture of rolling mills with a stronger local presence, enabling customers in India to benefit from both global engineering capabilities and local technical support.
MINO’s portfolio covers complete rolling solutions for aluminium, copper and steel, including hot rolling, cold rolling, foil rolling, process control, automation, revamping and technical services.
The establishment of MINO Rolling Technology India therefore represents more than the opening of a new company: it is a further step in building a stronger and more direct connection with the Indian metals industry.
