MINO Awarded New Six-High Finishing Mill Contract by Ningbo Boway

A new partnership between MINO and Ningbo Boway New Material Co., Ltd. is about to begin, with MINO awarded a new contract for a Six-High Finishing Mill for copper and copper alloys.

This project marks a further milestone in the long-standing collaboration between MINO and Ningbo Boway, further strengthening MINO’s position as a trusted partner for the high-precision rolling of copper and copper alloy strips.

The new mill will be installed at Ningbo Boway’s production plant in Ningbo, China, and is the latest in a series of rolling mills already supplied and successfully commissioned by MINO.

The previous projects include one Six-High Cold Rolling Mill and one Four-High Breakdown/Intermediate Cold Rolling Mill for copper strips. In addition, a further Six-High Finishing Mill is currently being manufactured at MINO’s workshops and will be installed at Ningbo Boway’s new production plant in Morocco.

The new order reflects the strong trust placed by Ningbo Boway in MINO’s rolling technology and process control capabilities, representing another important opportunity for the continued growth and development of both companies.

The new mill will be equipped with MINO’s exclusive AVANTI™ system for the automatic control of strip flatness and thickness. Its mechanical configuration has been specifically designed to meet the tight and demanding technical requirements of Ningbo Boway’s production processes for thin and hard copper alloy strips.

With this latest project, MINO further strengthens its cooperation with Ningbo Boway and continues to support the company in developing advanced rolling capabilities for high-quality copper and copper alloy products.
