MINO is pleased to announce the successful production of the first coil from the new six-high reversible finishing mill supplied to Jiangxi Copper Company Limited, a leading player in the global copper and non-ferrous metals industry.
This key milestone marks the official start-up of the mill, following the successful completion of installation, cold commissioning, and initial process testing, carried out in close collaboration between MINO’s engineering team and Jiangxi Copper’s technical staff.
The newly commissioned six-high mill is specifically designed for the cold rolling of high-quality copper strip. It features:
- Advanced process automation and control systems
- Automatic Gauge Control (AGC) and Automatic Flatness Control (AFC)
- High-precision rolling capability
- Optimized design for tight thickness tolerances and excellent surface finish
Due to its optimized design, the mill offers both flexibility and efficiency in production, ensuring consistent performance across a wide range of copper grades and strip dimensions.
