MINO has been awarded by Ningbo Jintian Copper (Group) Co.,Ltd. one contract for a new Six High Finishing Cold Rolling Mill for Copper and Copper Alloys.
Ningbo Jintian Copper (Group) Co.,Ltd. was established in 1986 and is today listed among the biggest Chinese players in the field of copper and copper alloy products, including strips, plates, bars, wires and tubes.
The new mill shall be installed in Ningbo plant and will be part of the Company’s investment programme aimed at improving the quantity and the quality of their production of high precision copper strip.
The mill shall produce copper strips down to a minimum thickness of 35 microns, on maximum width of 450 mm, meeting the highest standards of thickness tolerance and flatness, required nowadays in the high-tech applications for copper strips.
The new mill will be equipped with state-of-the-art automation system (including Automatic Gauge Control and Automatic Flatness Control) and with the advanced valve pulsing technology, for achieving maximum effectiveness in controlling the thermal crown of the rolls.
Following MINO’ s established and successful practice for such type of high precision equipment, the Mill will be manufactured and pre-assembled in MINO’s Alessandria (Italy) workshop.
